I put a warning on this for the gory non-eye thing going on. I just wanted to cover my ass so someone doesn't freak out or anything. xD

So...you guys never got to see the sketch of this. (I don't think so anyway). I did however show the original sketch to the people who visit hauntforum.com though. As such I posted this final image on that forum before I posted it here. I felt it only fair seeing as how I neglect that site WAY more than I do this one. (If you can even begin to fathom how that's possible lol).

Anyway this was drawn sometime last year, a few months before Halloween, and was meant to be finished by then. Clearly that never happened.

This is supposed to be a night time picture but...that also didn't happen. >_< Also please FULL VIEW. I spent a ridiculous and absurd amount of time on the coloring, Especially the rock walls and grass. I knit pick over EVERYTHING. It's why this took as long as it did.

In total, between the actual drawing and the coloring, I'd say I spend around 40 to 60 hours on this image, maybe even more. I'm going to ask for critiques but please keep in mind the actual drawing was completed over a year ago and only the majority of the coloring is recent. Namely the background is what I've spent the past two weeks working on. The figure (minus the veil on the hat) was finished sometime last year before Christmas.

Oh, and I want to note that this is me in the picture. It's highly idealized but that's supposed to be me in my Halloween Costume. I've been going as a Vampire Victim for several years now and it's become a character I adore playing. The actual dress in real life had had a longer skirt added to the dress' skirt hem making this into a Victorian gown. But if I wasn't so fat (and it wasn't difficult to walk in heels on the grass on Halloween lol ) then this is what the costume would look like. I had to add in an extra skirt piece because I'm heavy set and it caused the dress to ride up to show no no places >>;;

Anyway, I hope you guys like this. I'm going to consider submitting this as a print. ^^


Oh! And please note the Halloween theme here (not the obvious!). There are exactly three sets of 13 objects here. There are 13 trees (the 13th one is in the top right corner and appears as a brown smudge in the scan though I assure you it IS a tree), 13 tombstones, and 13 cross sections on the corset of my dress including the knot and the two ends of the ribbon. As far as the tombstones go some of them might be easily confused with some of the rocks in the cemetery. If it's needed I can post an image in my scraps circling which ones are tombstones and which are not. Just let me know.
