It's been awhile I know. This is a commission for ~legolasofthewood. She asked for a full body traditionally colored work of Gerard Way. I can promise her that it doesn't look so horrid in real life. Scanner's just suck and I have no idea how to really fix the problem of brightness even with all the fiddling I did with it in photoshop to make it look less...crappy..>>;;

Basically scanners are a traditional artist's worst enemy if they don't know how to use it properly. Which is me completely. If anyone knows how I could scan this in and get better results please let me know. >_<;

Anyway...I think it does look like Gerard. And she agreed based on the lineart she saw.

Also, take a look at her recent journal, she needs to be commissioned badly. So help her out if you can. :3

good job. I saw that you were selling on Ebay so I came here.

Well I'm really glad you came to check out my stuff. ^^ This particular image turned out a bit darker in person but otherwise it's exactly the same. The only alterations that were done were in photoshop to just fix the lighting from how bright it scans in.

Oh, man. I love his facial expression. It's so cocky and sexy at the same time and the bat belt is cool(I want one :P). The only thing is try to stay consistent with the thickness of the wire. I shouldn't talk because I have the same problem as well. :doh:

But overall, this is great.

I know...I have issues with things that require consistency like that. Straight objects are easy since I can cheat and use a ruler..>>

It does look like a playful Gerard. I think he looks cute and you even drew that bat belt she loves. It doesn't look crappy to me.

By no means does it look crappy IRL. Though I am not as satisfied with the coloring as I would like to be I'm happy I didn't mess it up xD

And she wanted that belt so I attempted it it...And thus proved I have issues drawing bats xD Poor thing has no eyes >>;;

And I was quite shocked at how nicely it turned out...It actually looks like Gerard. And with no references for the pose I'm really happy with it XD All my references were for his clothing and hair styles and such. ^^

(: He came out uber-smexy, and despite how you're complaining about the scanning I still think he looks pretty great.

The pose is perfect and he makes me squee XD Especially since his neck says 'cunt' XD
