So this image was drawn sometime last year but was never dated because it wasn't finished, I had to add his daggers in which I did on the 4th (a few days ago) which is why it is dated this year. Otherwise everything else about him was drawn last year.

His name is Magnus and he is a Blue Angel, a higher level of Angel than the sort of Angel everyone else thinks of. He is playing a lead role in two RPs I have going with a good friend of mine. This particular drawing is done for our one RP which involves Vampires and such and Magnus (and his younger brother Glewhin) are born as a result of the mating between a Blue Angel (their mother) and their human father but are both raised on Earth with dear old dad. The magic of their Blue Angel genes is what turns their skin so light and gives them white hair (though with my shading job it looks gray/silver here :x ).

Long story short at some point in the RP Magnus ends up working with his lover, an Ancient Vampire named Astarael, as a sort of assassin. He's more like a body guard but this is the outfit he wears. Magnus is actually an aspiring celebrity chef and that is his true passion but he does the moonlighting with Astarael to make sure his mate stays safe (d'aww). So he keeps his face hidden.

The twin daggers Magnus caries are his Angelic weapons and are thus summoned with magic eliminating the need for holsters and such. The small blue stone dangling off the end of the one and both larger blue stones set into the dagger hilts are called Sky Stones, a special gemstone that comes from Heaven. I'd like to also say that the hilt design is of FEATHERS so please don't think they are leaves. D:

Oh so you like to RP too!? Nice! It sounds like you and your friend have a really cool and interesting story coming along. The idea of the Blue Angel is really cool. You’ve also done an amazing job with the color blending and shading on this, I’m glad your friend had a scanner that was able to pick that up. He’s a bit skinny for a man, even a bishi man. His legs in particular I think could use a bit of masculinity. The narrow hips are good but something about how slim the thighs are is very feminine. The feathers on the daggers do in fact look like feathers, and honestly I think are my favorite part. They look so detailed and the design is awesome. :aww:
P.S, Hollywood Undead are awesome~ ;p

Aw thank you so much for the comment! And yes, I agree. There are some parts of his arms that I think are too thin as well. I actually had a real life male model whose pictures I found online that looked exactly as I pictured Magnus were he a real person. Sadly when my old PC and then my other external hard drive died I lost all of my bookmarks and along with it those pictures because I also had reference for Magnus' brother Glewhin too. >.< I have to try and find them again but I can't remember the model's names or the site I found them on so I'm kind of procrastinating the huge task it will be to look them up again. ^^;

But anyway, I'm so glad someone mentioned the daggers! They're the whole reason I never completed this picture back when I first sketched it out. I had barely started looking up dagger/knife references when the idea for the hilt came to me.

I've been contemplating drawing a close up picture of them on a background or something, without Magnus holding them. It would give me a great chance to practice backgrounds and objects.

Thank you! He was a work in progress for a long time because I had to stop and think out how I wanted his weapons to be. The abs ironically were a last minute afterthought but turned out better than I expected. :XD:
