...let darkness lead the fight.

Title seems a bit fitting, courtesy of Hollywood Undead's song lyrics from the song Tendencies.

I'm sure no one knows what is happening here. Fear not! I do! :la:

This picture is dedicated to my best friend, :icongoldenfox123187: and is her Christmas Present. I worked my ASS off on this picture and subsequently had to pause ALL work on her birthday pictures because of the looming Supervillain you see there in the background. When I drew this my villain had no color scheme and making sure I had that all sorted out before coloring her is why I ended up rushing working on the first three of Michelle's birthday gift pictures. T_T

I've recently begun thinking over ideas for a Superhero story and somehow the villain came to me first. I've gotten a brief reference sheet sketched out of her in pen which I used when I did this image the week leading up until Christmas. The inks were finished on Christmas Day and I finished the coloring just two days ago. So far she has no name yet but I am thoroughly enjoying her color scheme. So why is Mitchel and Mitchel in her demon form taking up the foreground of the image?

When I mentioned the story idea to ~GoldenFox123187 she asked me if her characters would be able to be in the story. At the time I didn't give a definitive answer, but I decided to surprise her with this for her Christmas gift. She loves to draw her heros in the foreground of an image with the villain looming large in the background like this: So I thought it would be cool to portray my villain looming in the background with her characters (in their Superhero costumes) in a fighting pose in the foreground. I kept Mitchel's original clothing color scheme in tact and just changed the outfits. As far as I am aware Mitchel's demon form doesn't have a main outfit so I tried to keep Mitchel's clothing with the browns and her fox form's outfit with the golden tan's. Mitchel (non-demon form) was supposed to be sporting a green flame around the hand she's holding up but I didn't have the time to attempt it in colored pencils and I didn't want to ruin the image by trying. Sorry! D:

Currently my villain does not have a name but her looks and color scheme are complete at least as is part of her background which I won't divulge yet. I will say that her glove has a unique feature in the hand part. She can harden a metal-like substance contained in the fingers of the glove and extend them at will up to around 4 feet in length. She can harden any part of the hand of her glove, including choosing any combination of fingers of the glove to extend and which parts to harden (like only hardening a small sharp point over the first joint of any finger to hardening all the fingers and thumb from their bases). In this image she's hardened the metal over her entire index finger.

I'm aware of some anatomical errors and I contemplated fixing them but decided to leave the image as is.

I hope you like it Michelle! I worked really hard on this and I thought extremely hard on the color scheme for all these characters (especially yours) so I hope that you like it.

I would also like to say that the braids in Mitchel's hair are actually a lighter color, more like a blondish color instead of just being brown like the rest of her hair. I also included Mitchel's father's pendant in the outfits as a center piece.

One last thing, I put this in fan art because Mitchel is based in the Pokemon and Yu Yu Hakusho fan-verse Goldenfox created. All three are otherwise entirely original characters and my villain is not associated with Pokemon or Yu Yu Hakusho. So yes, technically all of these characters are OC's, I just wanted to cover m bases so DA doesn't go moving my picture. >>;

holy crap XD! I was not expecting this at all. Way to be sneaky dude

AW!!! I first want to say that your characters boobs look GREAT! XD and that she herself looks FANTASTIC! Shes such a fem fetal here I'm so proud of you :glop: see all that practicing payed of XD. I don't know what to say not only did they make an appearance but you took the liberty of making them costumes too (I would have thought that Mitch would just wear all black attire with her coat XD) I can actually see that her braids are a lighter color.

however I know you said you were in a hurry and you'll propel strangle me for saying this but if you were to color the BACKGROUND in a dark color I think you would have set the mood of the pic better *........................... gets hit with a rock* but other then that I can tell you worked really hard on this and the colors look beautiful and *dramatic pause*........ I LOVE IT!! XD I just wish I actually got this on christmas (then my christmas would not have been that bad) but thank you, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!! I love it ^^*

I wanted to do the background but I was afraid I'd ruin it. Aside from that I hadn't colored any of your birthday pictures so I stopped this one so I would have time for those. I wish this had been done by Christmas but I spent so much time agonizing over details that with the on and off work I did on this it took me a week before I finished and I was just two days shy of your birthday on top of that.

I am glad you like it though. And I do think her boobs are amazing, I'm glad you noticed as that is an area of the female anatomy that most people don't like about my drawings.
