I have slaved over this image for a little over a week (about 9 days). By slave I mean I worked my ass off to make this a beautiful image. I put my everything into it. I think my eyes are ready to bleed from all the work D: This is marked mature for those that are too immature to handle Dolf's nudity. >_>

Alright well..this is my contest entry to :icondarklightjak:'s contest. Pretty much draw her character Dolf with your own original character. I wanted to enter but had no idea what character of mine would fit with Dolf so ~legolasofthewood said I should do Keary.

Keary, for those that do not know, is the blonde with blue bangs. That outfit is the one I drew him in here: [link] I went all out for this image so I decided to do it properly and looked up a colored pencil tutorial by :iconhorus-goddess: and then a tutorial for night time images (which I didn't find) but this nighttime sky tutorial helped me choose the proper color for my image. That tutorial is by :iconpippinincarnate: and can be found here: [link]

This whole image is entirely traditional. I only made it look darker in Photoshop when I was adjusting the brightness and levels. It's actually a bit lighter in person. Please excuse the excess stars. I went a little crazy....>.> I hardly ever get to do stars so...xD;;

Anyway the story here is that on nights of a New Moon Dolf loses himself and turns into his wolf form and goes ballistic and kills things. Keary, when he was originally created, I made him a Vampire. So I kinda played on that here with the Were and Vampire theme. Dolf is just about halfway through his transformation here, hence why he still has some of his blonde hair. I'm also aware of some issues with Dolf's anatomy. It's off...but he's naked so you have other areas to be staring at don't you? 83

Time taken: About 3 to 4 days consecutively (about 9 days when spread out which is what I was doing)
Medium: Prisma Colored Pencils, Sakura Micron Pens, Crayola Colored Pencils, and a Bic Wite-Out pen.

You really like the fur? It was driving me crazy because I couldn't make it as smooth as his tail is. But then again I suppose I'm being extremely picky because I spent so many hours upon ours upon days equaling longer than a week which makes me bias o the whole thing. xD;;

I've never blended so much on one picture before. I'm still having dreams about my hands being covered in colored pencil smudge. I'm not kidding. 8D;

I am glad you like it though. Go vote in the contest too if you haven't already. There were some other good entries too. ^^

Much much MUCH blending on my part. I'm glad I have those colorless prisma blenders. Now I need to go buy refills for some of these pencils. The Prisma leads are so soft they break easily so if you're notorious for dropping things or whacking things around like I am you'll have a heck of a time sharpening the stupid pencils >.>

I used Crayola's too. I like Prisma's because they blend better. The colorless blenders helped me keep from having to blend with Crayola white or Prisma whtie.
