Not to worry, I'm still here! Things have been rough and I see huge changes coming in my future, but I'm trying to hang in tight.

Work is stressful, I don't make enough money to live on there, but I certainly work hard enough that I really should be getting paid better. Since my last entry I got my yearly review and was basically told all of my hard work wasn't good enough, all the money I helped my store bring in through just my department alone, and doing everything myself - really - wasn't enough to give me a raise. Needless to say I need to get out.

I might be returning to school sometime within the next year or so to become a Vet Tech. I have some things to discuss with my grandfather to try and make this happen, but we'll see! First thing I need to do is get out from underneath the $40k in student loans (doubled from the original amount believe it or not in just a decade) before I can even consider school an option. I am hopeful though!

Hey hey! Sorry for sporadic updates. Some of you also got comment spammed on your art. I finally got through all of the stuff sitting in my inbox. Now I can focus on cleaning up my page and gallery.

I did a little sprucing up already on my main page, but it's not exactly how I want it yet. My gallery is also awash with art from forever ago. I'm probably not going to get rid of any of it, but I will probably move a good portion into scraps so my newer stuff doesn't get drowned by the old.

Good news is I got a new scanner! Bad news is that it's been an eternity since I scanned art so I have to relearn how to best tweak it while also getting the hang of how the scanner works. So far so good, though I'm not really happy with how washed out my traditional art is after scanning it. Mostly the color stuff as sketches and lineart aren't really as subject to being washed out. You guys probably noticed a few things end up in your inboxes again. It's strictly due to getting new, better uploads of the art. But there will be new stuff too!

I'm looking into getting Photoshop again and also getting my tablet hooked back up. I really miss doing digital art. I'm certainly more rusty with that than traditional.

If you also know of my jewelry making dabblings I'm going to be pushing forward with getting my Etsy shop revamped. I meant to do it at the beginning of February but my full time job has really had me wiped out. Enjoy my regular art in the meanwhile~

Not gonna ramble on any longer. I doubt many will be reading this anyway. I wasn't exactly getting many comments before I poofed so I'm sure I won't get many now.
