Currently we are experiencing some “growing pains”. Updates have been a little slow on my part, and for that I apologize. Currently We are working on getting our shop policies and shipping prices adjusted and updated to accommodate our diversity in product offerings. We make handmade jewelry, charms, and someday soon we hope to make candles, soap, and polymer clay beads. Also, keep an eye out for hair accessories! Also being added to our shop are vintage items including patterns, how to books and magazines, and soon clothing! We will also, from time to time, feature items that our friends or family have made or sell some of their destash items. Who We Are

Threaded chains is a joint venture between myself and my good friend . The purpose of this joint venture is to help us raise money to be able to do anything from going places together down to paying for certain necessities we have that our current jobs aren't enough to pay for.

So why Threaded Chains? Well our little shop is going to sell all kinds of hand crafted jewelry, book/manga thongs, charms, and more. Threaded stands for the craft part of our little joint venture. And chains, to me, stands for our everlasting and strong friendship which I believe is unbreakable, just like chain links.

(11/16/09) I'm working on updating things. Please forgive me for my tardiness. I am only one person. >_<

New items are ALWAYS added to etsy, artfire, and shophandmade.com even if I don't update here on DA. So please be certain to always check those out! My next task is to work on a general fee for gift wrapping. For the time being though, if you do want your item gift wrapped please be sure to request it when you place your order. I'll be as reasonable as I can with the prices. I promise.

We also will make custom pieces if you have charms or beads you want us to use. You can mail us these charms and we strongly recommend that you send it by verified mail. We will, of course, take pictures of the items once we get them so you know without a doubt that we have them.

What We Do

- Rings - We now make wire rings made to fit any size from 1 to 15!

- Charms - either with hemp or colored string

- Book/Manga Thongs: Small (8.5 in.), Standard (9.5 in.), Large (10.5 in.)

- Hemp Jewelry: bracelets, anklets, necklaces, wish bracelets

- Regular Jewelry: earrings, bracelets, anklets, necklaces - made with either stretchy string or wire

- Eyeglass/Sunglass holding strings

Rules and Other Info

Please read everything before contacting us.

We will not take commissions on charms or book/manga thongs. All pieces will be pre-made and pictures taken for you to choose from. Everything else we make is fair game: all jewelry (hemp and on hemp) and eyeglass/sunglass strings.

All commissions and regular orders will be taken on a first come first served basis unless you have a specific deadline that you need something by (like a birthday, etc). In that case you'll be bumped to the top of the list.

If you have a deadline you need something by please place your order at least TWO WEEKS in advance. This will give us adequate time to make the piece (if it's a commission) or prepare one of our premade pieces for shipping. We can be flexible with this but please keep in mind sometimes we don't readily have the supplies that may be required to make your item. The majority of our products are bought online and we need to have adequate time to have them shipped to us in order to make your items!

We reserve the right to update this journal without having to notify you of any changes. If you want to remain up to date while your commission is being worked on please watch =DeathInTheReaper. He won't harbor any ill-will toward you if you un-watch him after you receive your order.

You may NOT claim our work as your own (as in you made it).

We will ask for payment before sending your order.

Price Range List

Prices vary depending on materials used and the time it takes to make them. Obviously the more expensive the items the higher the selling price will be. However, we are always striving to keep our prices low.

Custom Order Pricing

Prices for custom orders will vary based on materials used and time it takes to finish the item. The more expensive the parts to make it the higher the purchase price will be.

Charms

Charms will be made with either colored string or hemp, your choice.

Each charm: $4

Book/Manga Thongs

These come in three sizes: Small, Standard, and Large. Sizes are made to allow room for extra beads or charms as well as to accommodate for larger or smaller books/manga.

Small 8.5 in.: $4
Standard 9.5 in.: $7
Large 10.5 in.: $10

Rings

Wire Wrapped Design: $2 - $6

Hemp Jewelry

Hemp jewelry can come with or without beads. Swarovski Crystals, Pewter charms, or glass beads/charms can be added for extra money upon request.

Regular Jewelry

Payment/Shipping

We currently accept the following forms of payment:

- Revolution Money Exchange
- Paypal
- Money Orders
- Checks (personal)
- Cash

All orders must be paid for in US dollars. NO foreign currency, sorry! Payment must also be sent to and received by us before we ship your item. No coins please!

Recommended: We highly recommend the use of the Revolution Money Exchange website. www.revolutionmoneyexchange.com All transactions are free and there are no fees for either buyer OR seller. It is also easy to use for you.

All orders must be paid for in US dollars. NO foreign currency, sorry! Payment must also be sent to and received by us before we ship your item.

If you are mailing us cash, money orders, or personal checks we recommend you send them via certified mail (only for orders $25+). This will enable you to know exactly when we have received your payment. You are responsible for paying the certified mailing fee.

Otherwise, for all payments below $25 please fold your payment up between several sheets of paper as tightly as possible and tape the sides of the folded paper together. So long as the money is concealed and can't be seen if the envelope is held up to the light you should be fine. Try to also tape any coins to the inside of the folded paper to keep them from rattling around.

Paypal Payments: You may may upgrade your shipping method at ANY TIME up until the day we actually put your order in the mail.

Other Payment: You must indicate if you want an upgraded shipping method prior to sending us your payment in the mail so that proper additional fees can be determined.

You must accept all responsibility for payments sent via mail i.e. cash, checks, or money orders. By paying in these methods you agree that we, Threaded Chains (a.k.a =DeathInTheReaper and ~GoldenFox123187 ) are not going to be held liable if your payment is lost or stolen before it reaches us. If this is the case you will need to resend the payment. Also, we will take a photo of the payment once it reaches us so you know we've received it.

If your payment is lost or stolen before reaching us and you wish to cancel your order you may do so but your item will be placed with our other pre-made pieces to be sold to someone else.

Refunds and Exchanges

For all exchanges and returns the item or items being returned/exchanged MUST be in sellable condition.

Refunds will be accepted only on the following:

- All Jewelry
- All Charms
- Book thongs
- Eyeglass holder strings

All items will come wrapped and sealed in a smaller tamper proof seal within the mailing envelope.

</i>Returns</i>:

- Undamaged/unworn: 30 days from the date you receive the item
- Undamaged/unworn returns are items that arrive undamaged and are still within their tamper proof seal.
- We will not be held responsible for items damaged in transit.
- As stated above we recommend you request insurance on the item or items purchased so that you may file a claim with the post office. Don't forget, we also do repairs. See below for details.
- NO returns accepted after the above date. No exceptions.


Exchanges:

UNDAMAGED & UNWORN:
- Exchange 14 days from date you receive the item.
- You pay any difference if the item you are exchanging for costs more than the item being returned.
- If the exchange is for a lesser valued item the difference will be refunded to you via check sent with your new item or via paypal depending on original payment method.
- If you paid for the original item via check, money order, or cash and the item you are exchanging for costs more we request you send the additional payment with the item you're returning to reduce the wait.
- NO exchanges accepted after the above date. No exceptions.

UNDAMAGED & WORN:
- Exchange 7 days after you receive the item.
- Undamaged and worn items classify as items being removed from their tamper proof seal but do NOT show extensive wear, tear, or damage. So if the item is frayed, about to break, or show heavy wear on any area we will not accept it back.
- You pay any difference if the item you are exchanging for costs more than the item being returned.
- If the exchange is for a lesser valued item the difference will be refunded to you via check sent with your new item or via paypal depending on original payment method.
- The item or items MUST be in sellable condition! If not you may opt to have the item or items repaired for free plus the cost of shipping. See below for details.

Repairs:

DAMAGED & Worn:
- Items can be repaired if mailed back to us within 7 days after you receive the item.
- Damaged & Worn are items classified as being removed from their tamper proof sealed package and breaking sometime after being removed but BEFORE the 7 day cut off.
- Damaged & Worn items may ONLY be repaired.
- Repairs: FREE!
- You must pay to have the broken item shipped back to us and resent back to you.
- NO repairs accepted after the 7 day cut off. NO exceptions.

To return/exchange please do the following:

Repackage the item to be returned. If the item is UNDAMAGED please make sure to wrap the item in a similar fashion that it was received so that we may re-sell it. Return the item to the following address:

If the item is damaged and you want a repair please mail us back ALL the parts. Do not keep any of the beads, charms, etc. Be sure to mail it back to us in a concealed envelope.

Upon receiving your return we will issue a refund via the original payment method used. However, money orders and cash will be returned via a personal check.

Upon receiving your exchange we will then ship out the item or items you are exchanging for. We will, at this time, refund you the difference if the item you exchanged for was less than the original item.

You will be responsible for all additional shipping fees.
